This placement exam is for University of Houston students and serves to assess students' level of mastery. The exam results are used to determine if students will be placed in HIND 1501, HIND 1502, HIND 2301, or HIND 2302.

Test Duration: 2 hours (writing section) & 1 hour (oral section)

Notes:

Students registered for the placement exam must be enrolled at the University of Houston to have credit awarded and must not be registered for the course for which credit is being attempted.
Students may receive a maximum of thirteen hours of course credit based on the exam results.
Test results will be available after ten business days.
