Eligibility

At the end of each semester, the director of Jewish Studies will solicit nominations for Undergraduate Fellows for the following semester from instructors of Jewish Studies-related courses.

Nominated students must be returning to UH the following semester. Students may not participate as fellows while spending a semester abroad.

The director of Jewish Studies may also nominate students who were not enrolled in Jewish Studies-related courses that semester, but who were successful Undergraduate Fellows that semester or a prior one.

Fellows may return for as many semesters as they remain eligible and interested. Eligibility is not limited to a single college, major, or minor.

Eligibility is unrelated to religion or any other identity marker. Fellows are asked to commit to attending at least two of the three events.
