As the Program Manager for UH Wellness, Mars plays a vital role in advancing student well-being through wellness presentations and educational programs, advising two student organizations, contributing to division-wide committees, and supporting BASICS (Brief Alcohol Screening and Intervention for College Students) initiatives. Her leadership consistently reflects a student-centered approach that strengthens engagement, promotes personal growth, and enhances the overall student experience.

Mars has made an extraordinary impact through her emotional intelligence, authenticity, and deep understanding of student needs. She creates an environment where students feel heard, valued, and empowered. Through her guidance and support, students who may arrive feeling uncertain or challenged leave with greater self-awareness, stronger connections, and an enhanced sense of well-being.
