University Career Services (UCS) is pleased to welcome two outstanding professionals to our team: Dr. Barbara Keith, Assistant Director, and Ms. Terry Thomas, Career Development Specialist, who joined UCS this spring.
Dr. Keith and Ms. Thomas bring extensive experience, energy, and a shared commitment to empowering University of Houston students as they prepare for meaningful careers and long-term professional success.
As they begin their roles, Barbara and Terry are eager to engage with students across campus through individual coaching, career education programs, workshops, networking events, and employer engagement opportunities. Their expertise will further strengthen UCS's ability to equip students with the career readiness skills, confidence, and resources needed to thrive in today’s evolving workforce.
Whether students are exploring career pathways, pursuing internships or co-op opportunities, preparing for interviews, refining résumés, connecting with employers, or planning for life after graduation, Dr. Keith and Ms. Thomas are committed to supporting their career development journey.
