Mariyah Kazim is the lead data analyst at the University of Houston’s Community Health Worker Initiative, where she analyzes client data to improve community health. She holds a bachelor's in health with a concentration in public health and a minor in data and society from the University of Houston. With a background in public health and data science, she mentors students, supports data-driven projects, and promotes the ethical use of AI in community research. She previously led interdisciplinary research efforts as a program manager and mentor in the Pharis Fellowship program.
