More than 60 University of Houston College of Pharmacy (UHCOP) alumni, faculty, students and friends teed up for Pharm.D. student scholarship aid at the 2026 UHCOP Golf Classic June 8 at TPC Houston, which marked 47 years since the tournament was launched in 1979.
A final tally of this year's tournament profits, 100% of which go directly to student volunteers of the event, is not yet available.

Also benefiting students through cash gifts to the tournament were Wesley Haun and Kathy Ryan.
Tournament organizers and student volunteers also expressed appreciation to the gifts in-kind donors for their door prizes, including Elizabeth Coyle Rogers, Chip Lambert, El Tiempo Cantina, Perry's Steakhouse, and David Wallace & Sarah Lake-Wallace.
While the tournament's purpose is to provide financial assistance to UHCOP Pharm.D. students, the event nonetheless provided prizes for team and individual competitions. The following were the winners and finalists among the competitions:
- Low Gross — First Place: Carlos Deandar, Justin Demel and Nic Mathias; and Second Place: Caleb Garza, John Hargroue, Chuck Kneip and Jim Rutan
- Low Net — First Place: Daniel Elkowitz, Joe Perello, Marcus Zavala and Pete Zych; and Second Place: Emmanuel Enwere, Doug Thornton, Tyler Varisco, and Matthew Wanat
- Closest to the Pin — Kip Lackey
- Longest Drive — Jessica Jones (Women's) and Kevin Millorn (Men's)
