Please join me in welcoming the newest appointees to the University of Houston’s Faculty Council. The following members were appointed by UH President Renu Khator. They will join this advisory body representing faculty from each of the University’s colleges and schools. These members succeed the council’s inaugural appointees whose terms officially expired on July 31.

In addition to these members, 43 faculty were elected by their peers to serve on the Council. This 60-member Council will serve through July 2027.
