Multicultural Festival

Explore the many different cultures that make up Fort Bend County! Sample food from Lebanon, crafts from Japan, music from West Africa, fashion from Vietnam, dance from India and Mexico, and more! There will be back to back performances in the Amphitheater featuring Joy of Djembe Drumming, Houston Parai Kuzhu, Kaminari Taiko of Houston, Lamar High School Mariachi, and Danzas Folkloricos de Solei. There will also be information booths with representation from the Japanese America Society of Houston, Vietnamese Culture an Science Association, Asian Pacific American Heritage Association, American Lebanese Cultural Center, Nigerian American Multicultural Council, Unite and Inspire, and more.

Learn the basics of Microsoft Excel 2019. Excel is a commercial spreadsheet program featuring calculation tools designed to aid you in your financial and statistical needs. This class will get you started using Excel for your personal work-related activities.

Tabletop Society: Telestrations

Tabletop Society is a board gaming club for adults, college students, and teens. We meet on the 4th Thursday of each month and focus on a different game each time we meet. It’s a great way to try out new games for free. This month we’ll be playing Telestrations, a hilarious combination of Pictionary and the Telephone Game – no drawing skills necessary. No registration required.

Dancin’ In The Street… Motown and More Revue

Houston’s very own Motown & More Show is BACK, for their 25th season. With a soul-filled weekend of the city’s hottest talent — performing the greatest R&B/soul and funk hits, of all time! Groove to the sounds of Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, Tina Turner, and the best of the 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s classics. This performance will also be livestreamed! You can watch it on YouTube, Facebook or the Miller Outdoor Theatre website.
