Cougar Preview

Cougar Preview is our grand on-campus experience for students to get to know their future home! This event provides an introduction to the University of Houston from the Admissions team, an academic information session by your college of interest and an overview of scholarships and financial aid. Plus, you'll hear from current students who are excited to share their experiences!

Getting to Campus and Parking

 

Free parking is in Zone F - Lot 12A. Enter the lot with the "Event Parking" sign. Present your confirmation email to our staff, who will assist you with where to park. Be advised that there are many other parking lots on campus and your parking fee will not be validated if you park in a lot or garage other than the Zone F - Lot 12A.

Academic College & Shasta's Resource Fair
This interactive fair offers an opportunity to explore majors and programs that match your interests and goals. You can also chat with student organizations to help decide which you would like to join.

CAMPUS TOURS | TDECU — Stadium Visits Center

* Tours will leave in 10-20 minute increments

Campus Tour
An ambassador will show you some highlights of our beautiful campus. Tours will depart from the Stadium Visits Center every 15 minutes.

Housing Tour
An ambassador will guide you to our showroom in Cougar Village II, a freshman housing facility. Tours will depart from the Stadium Visits Center every 30 minutes.

University & Community Vendors
Please enjoy some delicious food from our food truck vendors. Options will include burgers, delicious tacos and even tender brisket. Foods trucks are not covered in your registration, and you will have to pay for food.

Variety of Games & Fun!
The interactive lounge offers you an opportunity to engage with our amazing student leaders, as well as other prospective students interested in attending UH. There will be 3-4 games present for you to participate in.

Individual Admission Counseling
Get your specific questions answered 1-on-1 by an admissions advisor. The session will offer same-day admission decisions. Applications vary, so everyone may not be granted a decision.

Your major matters. Join the college of your choice to meet current students and advisors to learn about your future field of study. You'll be escorted to the location.

WEATHER NOTICE

Cougar Preview happens rain or shine. Bring an umbrella just in case (it's Houston)! In order to show you as much of campus as possible, the primary activities and campus tours, will take place outdoors. Please prepare for Houston weather by dressing appropriately for the temperature, bringing along a water bottle and drinking water throughout the day.
