The AIMS Program is a structured support model designed for student veterans and military-connected dependents at the University of Houston. It connects students to the resources, mentorship, and services they need to thrive—academically, socially, and professionally.

    Goal-setting conversations focused on academic, career, and campus connection goals.
  • Peer Mentorship & Intern Support
    Access to trained VA work-study students and graduate-level social work interns for ongoing guidance.
  • Integrated Referrals to Campus Services
    Streamlined access to CAPS, DART Center, Academic Advising, SOS Services, and more.
  • Veteran-Alumni Mentoring & Employer Events
    Get matched with UH alumni, veteran professionals, and employers who understand your journey.
  • Workshops & Leadership Opportunities
    Participate in resume labs, career panels, first-gen veteran events, and peer-led programming.
