WHERE TO STAY 
University of Houston visitors are encouraged to book through the official University of Houston travel portal to take advantage of discounted hotel rates at select Houston-area hotels, including the University of Houston Hilton, with complimentary personal customer service to assist with bookings and no service fees.  
VISITOR PARKING 
Paid visitor parking is available across campus. There is no free parking on campus. 

Visitor parking spaces not in a gated location use a text-to-pay system. Signage is posted at these areas explaining how to use the text-to-pay option. These spaces are marked with orange striping to distinguish them from non-visitor spaces.  
 
Parking in the gated visitor sections of the East Garage, Elgin Street Garage, and Stadium Garage can be paid with credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
EAT ON CAMPUS 
The University of Houston’s award-winning dining program has been recognized for achievements at the national level and featured on local news outlets. 
 
Visit either of our two all-you-care-to-eat dining commons or choose from more than 25 retail dining options.  
WHERE TO SHOP 
Stop by the UH Campus Store, your on-campus solution for course materials, Cougar Spirit merchandise, school supplies, campus living essentials, tech accessories, and much more. 
 
The Campus Store is conveniently located in the Student Center South in the heart of campus. 
WHAT TO DO 
On campus and looking for something to do? You can take in a performance at the historic Cullen Performance Hall; find an athletic event and cheer on the Coogs; visit the Arts District, including the Moores School of Music and Blaffer Art Museum; or take an art walk on campus to view more than 300 artworks.
