Willa Friedman Becomes A Member of IDEA's Founding Board Willa Friedman, Associate Professor of Economics at UH is among the founding leaders of the International Development Economics Association (IDEA), the first global, open, and democratically governed professional association for development economists, which launched publicly on June 24, 2026. Professor Friedman serves on IDEA's elected Board as a member of IDEA's Founding Board, which established the association and elected its first leadership. More...
