The University of Houston Developmental Psychopathology Lab is looking for participants
for an online research study examining the relationship between identity and personality
for individuals with borderline personality disorder (BPD).
You may be eligible to participate if you are at least 18 years of age, are fluent in English, residing in the United States, and have been diagnosed with BPD (prior or current). If you meet criteria to participate, you will be asked to complete one online survey (takes about 1 hour) and one Zoom study session (takes about 3 hours). In total, these two tasks will take roughly 4 hours to complete and upon completion, you will receive a $65 Amazon gift card. Do you or your partner have personality disorder symptoms? Join our paid, fully remote study examining how personality impacts experiences in romantic relationships!
The University of Houston’s Developmental Psychopathology Lab is looking for couples to participate in a paid online study examining how personality and personality disorder symptoms impact experiences in romantic relationships.
We hope that results from the study will inform treatment approaches to help those with mental health and personality-related difficulties build healthier and more fulfilling relationships.
Study details: You are eligible to participate if you and your partner are both fluent in English, 18 years of age or older, and have been in a romantic relationship for at least 6 months.
You and your romantic partner will each separately complete an online questionnaire and a video-recorded Zoom interview. Participation is confidential, takes approximately 2 to 2.5 hours total, and is compensated with a $50 Amazon gift card ($100 per couple).

Have a sibling with personality disorder? We would love to hear from you.
The University of Houston Developmental Psychopathology Lab is looking for participants for an online research study about personal growth in siblings of individuals with personality disorder.
Study details: You are eligible to participate if you are:
- fluent in English;
- 18 years of age or older; and
- the sibling of someone with personality disorder.
You will complete one online questionnaire (takes roughly 30-40 minutes) and have the option to enter a raffle to win one of one hundred $20 Amazon gift cards (can be applied to countries outside the U.S.).
