A Year of Milestones
The latest impact report reflects a year defined by momentum and intentional growth. As we approach a decade since our founding as a degree-granting school, we remain guided by the values of our namesake, Texas Lt. Gov. Bill Hobby, while expanding our reach through student engagement, transformative internships and programs, and applied research that informs real-world policy decisions. 2025 also marked the launch of the SPACE City Panel, a longitudinal public opinion survey that will provide valuable insights into the evolving priorities and perspectives of Houston-area residents for years to come.
The ceremonial groundbreaking of our new academic building signaled an exciting future, one that deepens campus and community collaborations and strengthens our commitment to training the next generation of public service leaders. From our classrooms to the halls of the Texas State Capitol, our students, faculty, staff and partners are advancing meaningful change. Thank you for being part of this journey.
