Diana Davila is a graduate candidate in public policy at the Hobby School of Public Affairs. She is a member of the Graduate Student Advisory Council and a graduate of the Social Economy and Enterprise Academy.
Outside of school, Diana serves as a board member of the mental health nonprofit Be Nurtured and volunteers with Friends of Moody Park, a nonprofit dedicated to revitalizing the park. Before returning to school, Diana worked in political campaigns and advocacy organizations in Texas and Australia. She is passionate about urban policy and hopes to become a professor.

Mya Holman is a senior at the University of Houston majoring in public policy with a minor in political science. Throughout her time on campus, she has held multiple leadership roles within the Residence Halls Association. She also serves as a student leader in the Hobby School Next Generation Leadership Academy and works as an administrative assistant in the Office of the Board of Regents. Beyond campus, Mya has spent the past two semesters in the Civic Houston Internship Program, contributing to the Department of Neighborhoods’ Engagement SPARK Park program and the office of state Rep. Christina Morales.
Her work and service have earned her several honors, including Distinguished Freshman Student Leader, RHA Executive Board Member of the Year at the regional level, recognition from UH Career Services, and the Hobby School’s Academic Excellence Scholarship. Mya aspires to become an international lawyer, using her career to support communities around the world while continuing her commitment to service, advocacy and civic engagement.
Angel Moss is a sophomore at the University of Houston, majoring in public policy. On campus,
she serves as the Women in NAACP chair for the NAACP’s 6806 unit and communications
chair of the Hobby School Student Organization. Off campus, Angel focuses on civic
engagement and food insecurity. This included registering citizens to vote as a deputy
voter registrar, canvassing minority neighborhoods on election information and volunteering
with Target Hunger, the Houston Food Bank and Kids' Meals.
In spring 2026, she became a Teens Make Health Happen mentor with HealthCorps, Inc. In this role, she leads a health and wellness club at an elementary school, educating students about health challenges and inequities affecting their communities while encouraging them to be change agents.
