Guest Information

Each guest will receive a card and key. The card gives the guest access to the building
entrance and the residence hallways. The key gives the guest access to the suite,
laundry room, and the gym.
Mail services are available for guests staying 30 days or longer. For additional information
or assistance, please contact StayatUH@uh.edu.
- Guests are encouraged to use the metered parking located around University Lofts or the Welcome Center Garage, located on 4400 University Drive, Houston, TX 77204.
- Sponsoring departments can arrange for long term parking for guests.
- Guests will need to call 832-842-5638 to notify the student staff at the desk when they have arrived. The student staff at the desk will let the guest in and aid them with the check in process.
- Upon check in, guests must visit the University Lofts front desk to complete the check in process. Student staff will provide the guests with a packet containing their key and access card. Guests are also required to scan a QR code and complete a check-in form upon arrival.
- Guests will be responsible for returning their room to the original condition at checkout (i.e., floors mopped, dusted or vacuumed, furniture back in place and dusted, and trash removed). Guests will be responsible for damages and charges will be assessed, as applicable.
- Upon check out, guests must visit the front desk to complete the check out process. Guests are required to return their key and access card, scan the QR code, and complete the check out form to confirm their departure.
- A monthly invoice will be sent to the guest or UH department sponsoring the guest. The initial invoice must be paid prior to the guest’s arrival.
- If paying with cash or check, all details will be provided on the invoice.
