Residential Engagement Model

Student Housing & Residential Life’s framework for engagement follows the KCE (knowing, connecting, empowering) model, which focuses on the creation and enrichment of relationships that enhance residents, hall staff and the residential community. Through a planful, dependable and comprehensive delivery, KCE provides opportunities for access, learning, and practice in relationship development and cultural understanding within our residential communities.

  • empowering

To create an atmosphere to educate and encourage residents to “know” and “connect” to their community and resources throughout UH and Houston Community.
