Career Recruitment Events
In the fall, the College of Pharmacy hosts a Career Mixer for P1-P2 students and a Virtual P4 Job Fair for the graduating Pharm.D. candidates; in the spring, students participate in interviews with recruiters for internship/job opportunities during the Internship & Job Interview Day.
The Career Mixer is a FREE event for P1-P2 students to meet and interact with recruiters, explore various pharmacy professions, and expand their professional network. Recruiters will present internships and job opportunities to students. It is also a great chance for first- and second-year students and recruiters to get to know each other in preparation for the Spring 2026 Internship and Job Interview Day.

The annual Virtual P4 Job Fair interviews connects graduating Pharm.D. candidates
with dozens of placement recruiters with career opportunities throughout Houston,
Texas, and the U.S. Recruiters at the event represent a range of pharmacy organizations
involved in community, hospital/clinical, long-term care and managed care practice
settings, consulting and the pharmaceutical industry.
Recruiters can request interview sessions with up to 14 individual candidates in Zoom
breakout rooms. There is no cost for recruiters.

Internship & Job Interview Day is a hiring event reserved for recruiters offering internship positions and job opportunities to first-year (P1) and second-year (P2) UHCOP students. Students will have the chance to meet with recruiters and interview on the spot to potentially secure a position within the pharmacy field.
