President's Circle Awards
The President’s Circle Awards spotlight faculty achievements that elevate UH’s national profile. Each spring, faculty gather at the University’s Wortham House for a formal celebration of their work.
Criteria
The President's Circle Awards recognizes UH faculty in five areas for each reporting year:
- Top 50 faculty members who published in journals with the highest impact factors
- Faculty who published senior authored or edited books
- Faculty who received national recognition and awards for research and creative activities
- Principal investigators and co-investigators who received major grant awards of $1 million-plus
- Faculty who received a U.S. patent for an invention
Submissions and Nominations
The President’s Circle Awards reception takes place each Spring semester. Submit by November 1 to be considered for recognition at the upcoming Spring reception. Submissions received after November 1 will be reviewed for the following academic year.
The President's Circle Committee reviews submissions on a rolling basis.
