Office of the Speaker
The Office of the Speaker of the Senate oversees the operations of the SGA Senate and works to ensure effective representation, collaboration, and advocacy for the University of Houston student body.
Serves as the chief officer of the legislative branch, presiding over all senate meetings, setting legislative priorities, and directing senate committees.
Manages legislative records, tracks senator attendance, records meeting minutes, and oversees the administrative processing of all bills and resolutions.
The Assistant to the Vice President provides administrative and organizational support to the Vice President, managing scheduling, coordinating meetings, and assisting with executive branch projects and initiatives.
