Services in Sugar Land

We offer large state-of-the-art classrooms, computer and multipurpose labs, as well as a campus library and coffee shop. Division of Student Affairs and the Enrollment Services department provides support services for students.

Library

The University Branch Library serves our sugar Land students, faculty, staff and community. To borrow items, students must have a Fort Bend County Libraries card, which may be obtained during library business hours.

Food 

We offer several dining and vending options to meet the needs of our busy students including Cougar Corner, Avenue C Micro Market and The Farmer's Fridge.

Printing

Print wirelessly from your mobile device or from the open computer lab to any available Print Release Station. Once the print job has been submitted, proceed to any Print Release Station and follow the instructions listed there.

Information Technology

UH Sugar Land Campus has a variety of technology resources for use. Students can print on campus and access an open computer lab.  Faculty can use classroom technology, computing resources & support, videoconferencing and telecommunications resources.

Off-Campus Housing Search

Students, faculty and staff can search for rental properties and roommates in the Sugar Land area via the University of Houston's Off-Campus Housing website. Local residents can also list rental properties in search of tenants.

Shuttle

Students who are taking face-to-face, in-person classes at both the main campus and the Sugar Land campus are eligible to take the Cougar Line shuttle service.

Sugar Land On-Demand

The City of Sugar Land provides on-demand rides for trips within the city. Students and faculty can request a ride to or from their home nearby, a local restraurant, or anywhere else in Sugar Land they need to go.

Academic Advisors at Sugar Land

The Division of Student Affairs (DSA) and the Enrollment Services (ES) department provides support services and events throughout the academic year. All students are invited to use these resources. Learn more about DSA and ES at room 119 in the Albert & Mamie George Building.

Representatives from Counseling and Psychological Services, University Career Services, the Justin Dart Jr. Student Accessibility Center, and the International Student and Scholar Services Office have office hours in Sugar Land.
