Copy, Print and Delivery Services would like to introduce the people who make up its dedicated team throughout February as part of its In-Plant Awareness Month celebration.

The month of recognition was set up by the In-Plant Printing and Mailing Association to introduce the in-plant industry and the individuals who provide in-house design, printing, mailings, and deliveries.

Nalan Giannukos

Position: Director
CPD team member: 26 years, 6 months.
Experience: After I graduated from UH, I started working for Copy, Print and Delivery Services as a print manager and worked my way up to director.

What do you like about your job? I really love getting to work closely with my team and the UH community. Connecting with my clients, learning what matters to them, and making sure they receive something truly high‑quality is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.

Karen Flores

Position: Delivery Services Manager
CPD team member: 10 years, 9 months.
Experience: I began my journey with CPD as an intern in the print department during my senior year at UH. After graduating, I joined the team full‑time as a press operator, learning the craft from the ground up. A few years later, when a position opened for a postal manager, I felt ready for a new challenge and decided to apply.

What do you like about your job? I really enjoy working with the employees at CPD. It’s incredibly rewarding to watch both our staff and the student workers grow, succeed, and gain confidence in their roles. Being able to mentor them is one of the most meaningful parts of my job.

Sami Snelling

Position: Production Manager
CPD team member: 25 years.

What do you like about your job? 
I love that there’s always something new to learn, and I really appreciate the sense of family we share here. That feeling of growing together and supporting one another makes the work especially meaningful.

Leslie Traore

Position: Promotional Product Manager
CPD team member: 3 years.

What do you like about your job? 
I really enjoy helping our customers bring their ideas for promotional items to life. Seeing their vision turn into something tangible and meaningful is one of the most satisfying parts of what I do.

I’m a proud grandma to six beautiful granddaughters and one handsome grandson.

Eric Dowding

Position: Prepress Supervisor
CPD team member: 16 years.
Experience: Worked as a graphic designer both employed and freelance.

What do you like about your job? 
I enjoy connecting with the diverse and interesting members of the University community, and I love the variety of projects I get to work on each day. That mix of people and work keeps things engaging and meaningful.

Maria Garcia 

Position: Postal Supervisor
CPD team member: 25 years, 11 months.

What do you like about your job? 
I’m proud to provide mail services to the university community. Supporting the campus in this way and helping everything run smoothly is a meaningful part of my work.

I have 17 puppies.

Andrea Arano

Position: Customer Service Rep 2
CPD team member: 1 year.

What do you like about your job? 
I really enjoy building relationships with our students and staff. Getting to know them and supporting their work makes my role especially meaningful.

I am a registered dental assistant (RDA).

Kathy Fieldcamp

Position: Graphic Designer, working both in print and web
CPD team member: 16 years.
Experience: I have been a graphic designer for more than 25 years. Before I came to UH, I worked at New Mexico State University for a nonprofit environmental department that took on environmental initiatives helping communities to clean up and to educate them about environmental issues.

WERC initiated the Engineering Design Competition, where students from all over the United States would compete to solve environmental issues.

What do you like about your job? 
I enjoy collaborating with my colleagues and working with our customers to create resources that help others navigate the UH community with confidence.

Saleste Bautista

Position: Graphic Designer
CPD team member: 13 years.
Experience: I’ve been a designer for 25 years. I’ve worked at an advertising agency, UH Alumni Association, and the Greater Houston Convention and Visitors Bureau.

What do you like about your job? 
I enjoy my work as a graphic designer because it lets me blend creativity with problem‑solving in a way that feels genuinely rewarding.

Salvador Bautista

Position: Bindery Operator
CPD team member: 8 years, 6 months.
Experience: Has 35 years of experience in the printing industry.

What do you like about your job? 
My coworkers are genuinely friendly, and I appreciate the steady rhythm of an eight‑hour workday. It creates a positive, balanced environment that makes each day feel productive and enjoyable.

Juan Lazoya

Position: Offset press operator 3
CPD team member: 2 years
Experience: Juan has 27 years of experience in the printing business as a press operator.

What do you like about your job? 
My coworkers are genuinely friendly, and I really enjoy being part of this workplace. Their support and positivity make coming to work each day something I truly look forward to.

Erendire Deloya 

Position: Postal Assistant
CPD team member: 1 year, 10 months.

What do you like about your job?
I’m passionate about learning, and I love that every day brings something new to discover. That constant growth is one of the things that inspires me most.

I have my own jewelry business.

Harold Ford

Position: Postal Assistant
CPD team member: 8 years.
Experience: Has 30 years of mail service experience.

What do you like about your job? 
I enjoy providing mail services to the University staff. Supporting the campus in this way and helping everything run smoothly is something I take real pride in.

I am a big Houston Texans football fan.

Maria Rivera

Position: Postal Assistant

Experience: Has been a UH employee for almost 17 years.

What do you like about your job? 
Honestly, I like everything about my job. Each part of what I do brings something positive, and that makes the work genuinely enjoyable.

Willie Rivera

Position: Postal Assistant
CPD team member: 6 months.
Experience: Worked as a mail carrier for UPS.

What do you like about your job? 
I enjoy getting to talk with different people every day, and I really appreciate being part of our Postal Service Management department. My coworkers are supportive and friendly, which makes the work environment something I truly value.

I believe I belong to that one percent of the people who don't know how to dance, even though I'm a musician.

Anthony Stewart

Position: Postal Assistant
CPD team member: 9 years.
Experience: More than 15 years working at FedEx as a courier around the Houston area.

What do you like about your job? 
I enjoy the campus work environment and the chance to collaborate with my coworkers, staff, and students. Being part of a community where everyone contributes to something meaningful makes my work especially fulfilling.

I enjoy concerts and live music, and I love going to sporting events—but shopping is my all‑time favorite thing to do. That’s the fun stuff for me.
