Global Faculty Institute
The University of Houston Global Faculty Institute is a cohort-based professional development program that prepares faculty to design and lead meaningful global learning opportunities and advance internationalization within their departments, colleges, and the broader university.
The GFI provides faculty with the training, mentorship, and support to design an implementable global learning initiative. This funded program includes an intensive retreat, 6 professional development sessions, a capstone site visit abroad, guidance from experienced faculty mentors, and concludes with a global initiave showcase.
