Shasta's Amazing Race: 

Shasta's Amazing Race is a fun and interactive opportunity for new Coogs to explore campus, discover key resources, and learn more about UH traditions. Through social-bonding and team-based challenges, students will engage with campus resources and gain confidence in navigating university life.

Cougar Clash: 

The Cougar Clash empowers new students to foster meaningful connections with their peers through collaborative competition and team-based challenges. Designed to promote engagement and community, this experience helps students develop a sense of belonging while navigating their transition to the University of Houston.

UH Survival Guide:

The UH Survival Guide provides students with an opportunity to engage with campus partners and explore valuable UH resources through an interactive panel discussion. Facilitated by DENS Leaders, students will learn how to navigate real-world college scenarios and discover on-campus resources that can support their transition.

Dear Future Me: 

Through this experience, students will reflect on their first-semester experiences, identify future goals, and create a roadmap for continued success. Through guided journaling, vision board creation, and interactive activities, students will develop confidence in pursuing their future aspirations and continued success at UH!
