Leslie is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who brings a steady, compassionate presence to individuals who feel overwhelmed or are experiencing moments of uncertainty or crisis. For more than six years, she has supported youth and adults across Illinois with a trauma-informed, holistic approach grounded in genuine care and respect.

Before returning to counseling full-time, Leslie spent six years as a Houston Police Officer, often meeting people on some of the hardest days of their lives. Those experiences shaped her calm, patient style and deepened her belief that everyone deserves to be heard, safe, and understood.

Leslie earned her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and her master’s degree in Counseling from the University of Illinois at Springfield. Her work blends evidence-based techniques with empathy and practical support, including active listening, de-escalation, and personalized safety planning. Above all, she aims to meet clients exactly where they are, helping them feel grounded, supported, and empowered as they navigate challenges and begin to heal.

Inspired by the resilience she’s witnessed in others, Leslie’s mission is to create a safe space where people can find hope, clarity, and the courage to move forward—no matter what they’re facing.
