Dual Degree Programs

Dual BS/MS

This accelerated BS/MS program is available to eligible GHL undergraduate students pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Global Hospitality Leadership who wish to earn a Master of Science in Strategic Hospitality Leadership. This five-year track allows students to begin graduate coursework as juniors and complete up to 12 credit hours that count toward both degrees.

Dual MS/MBA

This program, offered in partnership with the UH C.T. Bauer College of Business, enables students to earn both a Master of Science in Strategic Hospitality Leadership and an MBA in three years, requiring 63 semester hours and separate admission to each program. Students can also pursue a BS/MS Accelerated Plan, completing both degrees in five years by starting graduate coursework in their senior year and finishing the MS with one additional year.

Masters Programs

Master of Science (M.S.) in Strategic Hospitality Leadership

 This program features core coursework in business, management, and research. Students can customize their degree plans by selecting electives in areas such as finance, revenue management, human resources, food and beverage and so much more. Students can choose between a professional track requiring 30 credit hours or a research track requiring 36 credit hours.

Master of Science (M.S.) in Global Hospitality Business

This joint degree program is offered in collaboration with Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne and Hong Kong Polytechnic University, giving students the opportunity to study across three continents—Switzerland, Hong Kong, and Houston. The experience includes a capstone project, business field trips, and the completion of three professional certifications.

Executive Master of Hospitality Management (Online Program)

This 100% online program is designed for working professionals and can be completed in an accelerated one-year format requiring 30 credit hours. Courses are delivered in five-week terms with short breaks scheduled between each session, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a structured pace.

Doctoral Programs

Doctorate in Global Hospitality Leadership (Online Program)

 This 100% online program is designed for executives, professionals, and educators, with a strong emphasis on applied research, consulting, and leadership development. Its flexible delivery format supports global accessibility, allowing students to engage in the program from anywhere in the world.

Ph.D. in Hospitality Administration

 This is a research-focused program designed for those pursuing careers in academia and research. It emphasizes theory, research development, and academic writing, while also building skills in grantsmanship and leadership to prepare graduates for faculty and scholarly roles.

Certificate Programs

Certificate in Hospitality Decision Making & Analytics

This certificate program provides a strong foundation in analytics, economics, and the cultural forces shaping the industry. It prepares students for data-driven roles in hospitality management while offering credits that may be applied toward a future master’s degree.
