MS Global Hospitality Business

Three Semesters. Three Continents. Global Education.
Overview of the Program
The Master of Science in Global Hospitality Business (MSGHB) at the University of Houston’s Hilton College is a unique program designed for professionals seeking a high-level, international career in hospitality. It is offered through a first-of-its-kind partnership between three of the world’s top hospitality schools across three continents.
Semester 1. Europe: Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL) in Switzerland. Focus on European markets, real
estate, and finance.
Semester 2. Asia: School of Hotel and Tourism Management (The Hong Kong Polytechnic University). Focus
on the dynamic Asian market and tourism technology.
Semester 3. North America: Conrad N. Hilton College (University of Houston). Focus on the American market, strategic
management, and leadership.
Students move as a single cohort, spending one full semester at each of the three partner institutions. This allows students to immerse themselves in different business cultures and hospitality markets.
The program includes business field trips to major global tourism hubs (such as New York or Paris) to meet with industry executives and visit flagship properties.
Capstone Project: Students work on an Academic Business Project, which is a real-world consultancy project for an industry partner.
Certifications: Students earn professional certifications as part of the curriculum.
Graduates of this program benefit from a massive professional advantage:
Triple Alumni Network: You gain access to the alumni databases of all three world-class institutions, connecting
you to thousands of leaders globally.
Global Perspective: The curriculum is designed to prepare you for roles in international hotel groups,
real estate firms, and hospitality consulting.
