UH Renews Partnership with Campus Travel Management to Offer Discounted Hotel Rates for Campus Visitors
The University of Houston has renewed its partnership with Campus Travel Management, continuing a program that offers discounted hotel rates for campus visitors. Through this initiative, prospective students, families, faculty, and event attendees can book accommodations at select Houston hotels at reduced rates with no service fees. Managed by Auxiliary Services in collaboration with Admissions and Enrollment Services, the program also enhances the visitor experience with new webpages highlighting campus dining, parking, shopping, and entertainment options. The partnership aims to make visiting UH more affordable, convenient, and welcoming for first-time and returning guests alike.
Fiber Takes Center Stage at Cougar Woods Dining Commons Nutrition Event
UH Dining Services held its first on-campus event recognizing National Nutrition Month at Cougar Woods Dining Commons. The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics oversees the national celebration each March to promote healthy eating habits and form new relationships between people and food. At the University, the Dining Services team focused on the benefits of fiber.
Yee-Haw! Dining Services Goes Texan at Cougar Woods
Students, faculty, and staff who meandered over to Cougar Woods Dining Commons on Feb. 26 were greeted by a festival-like environment complete with a mini petting zoo, local vendors, the smokey smell of barbecue on the pit, and the sounds of country music emanating from inside the dining hall all as UH Dining Services celebrated Go Texan Day.
